COVID-19 PROCEDURES

As we continue to weather this pandemic, we are mindful of our collective safety and health, especially in light of the fact that many of our clients and those who come through the doors of our clinic are pregnant or have young children. We are responsible for one another’s health.

Here are a couple things to know as we continue:

  • If you have an appointment scheduled, you will receive a questionnaire in your inbox 2 hours prior to your visit to screen for COVID-19 symptoms. Please complete this.

  • I am fully vaccinated, as is every other provider I share space with.

  • If you have any cold or flu-like symptoms at all, or are concerned about your own risk or others, please know you can cancel your visit without penalty.

  • If anyone in your household is being tested or waiting for COVID-19 test results, please cancel or reschedule your visit to an Online Visit.

  • Please wear your own mask to your visit, as we cannot avoid the 6-foot social distancing & resume treatment. Note that masks with a vent are not recommended, as they do no prevent the wearer from potentially spreading the virus.

  • If you prefer to have an online/telehealth visit, that is still an option and encouraged. Learn more about Telehealth here.

  • Please plan to attend your visit alone; no children or partners are allowed in the clinic at this time, for everyone’s safety.

  • Please plan to arrive no more than 5 minutes early. If the door is locked, gently knock but know we will be ready for you.

Here are some steps we are taking at the clinic to minimize risk & exposure:

  • Screening all employees for the same symptoms and temperature checks

  • Cleaning all surfaces between visits, at the start, and at the end of each shift

  • 15-minute window between every patient visit

  • Continuing to offer online visits to decrease traffic in the clinic

  • Minimizing use of linens, and wearing gloves for manual therapy

  • Cleaning door handles and frequently touched surfaces frequently & between visits

  • All employees are wearing masks and utilizing hand hygiene best practices

  • Maintaining 6’ social distancing when possible (during scheduling, education, etc.)

We look forward to seeing you back in the clinic, and appreciate every step you are taking toward our collective health and wellness.
Please let us know if you have any further suggestions or feedback at any time!
